Our cooperatives
Sophumelela
Sophumelela has been working with us from the beginning. Most of the women in the group were taught to sew during their incubation phase. They are a strong united group, always the most productive with a great quality too. If you've got a rush order, you can always count on this coop to get it done!
New Hope
These women mean business, their work portfolio ranges from township bags to clothing. The chair-lady, Shahieda, is passionate about training people in the community. A group of dedicated and hardworking women.
Empire Club
Resilient is the best way to describe this cooperative. When it came to finding a workshop or creating a solid team, they rose to the challenge. They've settled in their new location and the quality work which we get is truly commendable. The women's motto is all centered around teamwork.
Singalakha
Quality, quality quality! This is the Township founder's motto which Singalakha has always understood. Very productive and dependable group. The women understand that our partnership with them is a give and take. They're always ready to share solutions and concerns that benefit the entire network.
Litha
Solidarity is their strength, this is a cooperative that works extremely well together. Most of the women are single mothers and the sole providers in their households. They've got a few products they sell at their workshop. Asakhe, the chair-lady, has a good understanding of the business. She's a great sales person and has joined us at multiple trade shows.
Thaboyabomme
The social cooperative, a group of caring women. They're a family, looking out for each other. The women in this group are mainly older, but the younger women take care of them. Cindy, the chair-lady, is very active on social media and has been modelling for Township on many occasions.
