Meet Sindi from Thaboyabomme Cooperative

Sindi has been working with Township for many years now, starting out as a young women, she has grown into s strong and independent person. Sindi, has a 11 year old boy who she supports through her work with the cooperative.

She is part of Thaboyabomme, one of seven ladies. This group of women are friendly and supportive, always looking after one another.

“Sewing is still my passion, and I enjoy making bags in different sizes. The bags athe re unique and I love the township fabrics. I am very grateful to have learnt technique of making a bag. I look forward to continuing to work with Township.” – Sindi

Sindi has assisted us at various tradeshows in Cape Town on numerous occasions. We thank her for always being eager to be our brand ambassador.
